Associate Financial Advisor

Participate in the sale and delivery of a full range of investment and insurance solutions by assigned Financial Advisor(s) in order to meet customer needs and achieve targeted sales goals. Assist Advisors with new business opportunities, and the analysis of clients' financial information. Work to revive dormant accounts and achieve superior client satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service. Maintain a presence within the bank to develop strong relationships and help ensure the successful transition of new internal opportunities to assigned Financial Advisor(s).
Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________
1.Support the sale and account opening process of a full range of investment and insurance solutions by assigned Financial Advisor(s) in order to meet customer needs and achieve targeted sales goals. Learn and actively use all bank, broker-dealer and agency operational systems necessary in the sale and placement of new business as well as those used to manage referrals and client relationships.
2.Coordinate and prioritize multiple Advisors' clients and projects shifting tasks as needed.
3.Assist Advisors with new business opportunities, and the analysis of clients' financial information including needs, goals, risk, and horizon.
4.Assist with active accounts while working to revive dormant accounts and achieve superior client satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service.
5.Create and implement MGP (Money Guide Pro) financial plans and review plans for effectiveness. Implement new plans and models based on clients' changing needs.
6.Responsible for advising clients on planning and investment strategies as well as portfolio decision execution.
7.Maintain a presence within the bank to develop strong relationships and help ensure the successful transition of new internal opportunities to assigned Financial Advisor(s). Coach Licensed Bank Employees in profiling, product knowledge and sale of investment and insurance solutions.
8.Attend and engage in Regional and Branch meetings.
9.Schedule personal meetings with clients and plan and execute group prospecting events (i.e. seminars).
10.Participate in various community-based outreach campaigns as well as public relations and networking events.
Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________
1.A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, and/or equivalent experience required.
2.A minimum of one (1) year sales related experience preferred.
3.Excellent communication, organization, and mathematical skills required.
4. Must obtain Series 7/63, and 65 or 66, and LAH licensing within six (6) months of hire.
5.Must have a valid driver's license. Regional travel is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
