We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the daily operations and management of our Finance Department and support the Director of Finance for our Pittsburgh HUB.
This year-round, full-time position requires open schedule availability during peak season, including extended work hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and serve as a strong independent contributor to the overall success of the park.
This role is perfect for a Finance professional with a strong knowledge of Workday who is ready for career progression or seeking growth and change.
Location:
The position has the potential to work out of either our Kennywood or Idlewild & SoakZone location.
You will have the flexibility to choose the park that best suits your preferences and lifestyle.
Travel:
While the primary work will be based at one of the parks, there will be limited travel between the parks.
This allows you to collaborate with colleagues across locations and gain a holistic view of our financial landscape.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Oversee financial operations at the park level, including budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliation while maximizing revenue and cost-savings opportunities Review Monthly P&L and General Ledger accounts for accuracy Supervise reconciliations and daily revenue reporting Manage AP processing thru Workday Financial Software Provide financial leadership for all departments to manage expenses Assist in developing annual financial plans and projections for the park Communicate and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and values Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines Perform routine financial analysis for all Revenue Centers Assist the Marketing Team on Attendance Tracking Oversee appropriate control of expenses, labor hours, operating costs and inventory within budgeted guidelines Ensure the continued operation of in-park cash-to-card kiosks Prepare reports and spreadsheets for park management displaying revenues and expenses for various revenue streams and expense accounts Maintain positive vendor relations through professional courtesy in compliance with Palace Entertainment Code of Ethics Responsible for training, scheduling, and managing 2 seasonal team members Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations and required documentation Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to address accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes Complete all financial duties relating to period end closing and end of year closing, such as reviewing Profit & Loss statements and discussing closing issues with department managers Maintain fixed assets' list for the park Implement, conduct, and oversee internal audit procedures in all departments Calculate Vendor Share revenue split and payments Process and report revenue to the corporate office, as well as various levels of the organization, on a daily basis Respond to any revenue reporting discrepancies or variances Respond to any Corporate Finance or Internal Audit requests Accounts receivable and accounts payable functions including review of accounts payable, expense reports, and company credit card accounts Review and complete short-term and long-term projects as needed Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, including attending Safety Committee meetings, adhering to company policies as well as local, state, and federal guidelines.
Support and enforce all park operating policies and procedures Participate in the park's Manager on Duty program during operating season Skills:

A Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience:
Three to five years of experience in accounting Experience analyzing/reporting financial results recommended Experience in Budgeting/Forecasting Experience with Workday ERP is highly desirable Team member
