As a Construction Quality Inspector at Soltec, your mission is crucial in maintaining top-notch project quality.
By inspecting civil, electrical, and mechanical components, you play a vital role in minimizing errors during installation.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING The mission is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of project quality.
By meticulously inspecting civil, electrical, and mechanical components, you contribute to minimizing errors during installation, a critical aspect of our commitment to excellence.
Main responsibilities Component inspections:
Implement the Inspection Points program, manage and check the dimensional and specs conditions of civil, electrical, and mechanical components, Quality test, palletizing conditions, external inspections, inspection at the reception of the material on site.
Calibration of tools:
Update documents and certification of measurement instruments.
Request documentation related to quality issues from the group.
Offer support for other functions/projects in the area.
Perform supplier supervision.
Supervise the supplier's job when materials arrive at the job site.
Provide support to client and suppliers inspectors for standards (UL, CSA, SGS).
Analyze incoming NC and send it to the corresponding area for processing and to provide a solution.
Control Project inspections through the Tru-QC tool.
Qualifications & required skills High school degree 1 - 3 years months of experience in a similar role.
Bilingual (Spanish & English).
Technical Knowledge in:
Taking measurements of mechanical in electrical installation.
ISO 9001 regulations.
Treatment of NC's Interpretation of plans and dimensional control.
Experience in a company in the industrial, photovoltaic and/or construction sector.
Knowledge of the market for structural materials, processes, galvanizing, welding and material equivalences.
Calibration of measurement equipment.
UNE, EN, DIN, IEC, UL, ASTM, AS, UL3703, IEC62817 regulations Must be able to read plans and specifications.
Willing to be on site almost 100% of the time.
Able to collaborate with different offices in a virtual environment.
Must be a team player.
Complementary Knowledge:
Knowledge of the National electric Code is a Plus Strong attention to detail.
Troubleshooting:
8D, 5W.
