ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Responsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding, orientating, and training for approximately 650 seasonal employees and 30 full-time/year-round employees. o Responsible for creating, managing, and adhering to expense & labor budgets, including P&L. o Annually reviews and makes recommendations to the General Manager for improvement of the parks policies, procedures, and practices regarding People & Organization. o Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance with local, federal, and corporate guidelines. o Recommends, evaluates, leads, and participates in staff development on human resources-related topics, such as harassment, diversity and inclusion, etc. o Directs investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth. o Leads a standard recruiting and hiring practice and procedure necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce. o Work with leadership team to continuously promote, curate and ensure a healthy company culture. o Ensure the human resource department serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies, and helping resolve work-related problems. o Identify key workforce trends regarding engagement, turnover, recruitment, and hiring, then facilitate the organization's ongoing strategy and response to address these key matters. o Lead the team and continuously build skills in gracefully addressing and resolving day to day challenges such as the stress of staffing shortages, conflict management, discipline, and employee relations. o Ensures all employees have been adequately trained to safely perform their work and document all training as it occurs o Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed for park operation, employee relations, timekeeping and safety including ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly documentation is being completed. o Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures to provide a work environment that demonstrates leadership, cooperation, policy enforcement, safety, communication and organization. o Participate in the park's Manager on Duty program SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS:
o Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid state driver's license. o Ability to work in all environments indoors and outdoors. o Minimum 5 years of management experience in Human Resources or related field. o Must have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, social sciences, or related fields Capable of taking and passing various certifications/examinations o Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance record. o This year-round salaried and benefited position comes with increased summer work hours (May thru October) and the candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, HR Generalists & Business PartnersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
